Exciting news for our community and environment!

This April, Spartan Scanning has teamed up with Recycling is like Magic! (Scrap University Kids), and BlueScope Recycling for a green cause full of fun and play!

From April 1 to April 31, 2024, St. Charles Borromeo School successfully recycled 7,900 lbs of metal. Through these efforts, 80 students received free copies of The Girl Who Recycled 1 Million Cans. The school also raised $705.36 towards a new playground.

Support and Contributions:

Spartan Scanning Solutions: Provided support for the recycling initiative.
BlueScope Recycling: Supplied a large roll-off bin for collecting metals.

Call to Action: Help St. Charles Borromeo in Coldwater, MI, get new playground equipment! They will continue recycling metal at their school throughout April to raise funds. If you're in the area, please bring your cans, wires, Christmas lights, and other metal items to support their cause!
